Wonderful Wednesdays

AWANA, 3yrs.- 6th grade

Wednesday night 6:15 pm

Gym  Skillsnet

April 2   "Bring a Parent Night"

Training children to know, love and serve Christ should begin when they are young and continue throughout their growing-up years. Fully integrated programs are essential in sequentially developing a biblical foundation, Scripture-based values and Christ-like character in young people at age-appropriate levels.  Awana offers integrated programs that help churches and parents build an enduring biblical faith in kids!

What does the word Awana stand for?

The acronym Awana comes from the first letters of the phrase

“Approved workmen are not ashamed”    (2 Timothy 2:15).

Wednesday Night Singing, Bible Study, Prayer Service

6:15 pm   Attended by Adults of all ages

Texas Baptist Home

"King Enrichment Center Auditorium"

629 Farley St.

Singing takes place the first half hour.  Dale Miller conducts the nine member band.

Southern Gospel style, with some of the older hymns included.  Instruments: Guitars, Bass Guitar, Fiddle, Mandolin, Keyboard.  Truly the singing and playing of the instruments is second to none. The pastor then leads in a Bible Study, then we review the Prayer Bulletin and provide time for praise reports, updates, and new prayer request. Next two individuals lead us as we Pray.

We believe prayer to be the power source for salvation, healing, reconciliation, provision, courage, guidance, life change and much more. Through prayer, we can "bear one another's burdens" and receive God's grace and strength in every hour of need.

We want YOU to come and receive the blessings, and be a blessing~

Spiritual batteries recharged!   In the event you can't be on time at 6:15 pm we understand,

come and join in when you can get there.
